Keep On The Lawn
In our continuing efforts to improve our precious public space, we've given two of our pedestrian plazas a new seasonal look by covering them in artificial grass, and installing a new style of planter to go with it.
This is a test run to see how the grass handles the wear and tear of being a surface in New York City. We'd also like to know what you think of this new look! Is it an aesthetic improvement? What's your experience been using the plazas with the new surface? Any feedback you'd like to share regarding the new items or the old is welcome.
First, you'll need to find them. The grass and planters can be found on the two plazas located on Broadway between 40th and 38th Streets. You can send your feedback to Ryan at firstname.lastname@example.org
