Pizza & Tacos & Chicken Fingers
The food scene of the Garment District continues to grow this year with the addition of three delicious new spots.
There's no downside in sight with the opening of Upside Pizza, bringing some of the most thoughtfully made slices in NYC to the Garment District.
Recently featured in the NY Times, our newest pizzeria features fresh house-made mozzarella, sausage, house -pickled peppers, two kinds of sauces (one for regular and one for Sicillian), and a painstakingly made dough.
A Texas take on bold, modern Mexican cuisine has come to our neighborhood with the opening of Oxido, at 1450 Broadway on 41st Street.
Chef Jesse Perez pays tribute to the dishes he grew up cooking in San Antonio, making every burrito, taco, and bowl from scratch with fresh produce, meat from huumanely-raised animals, and sauces that enhance the flavor to another level.
Since 2012 Sticky's Finger Joint has been serving up a gourmet version of a childhood (and adulthood) favorite, and now they are doing it here in the Garment District.
Also located at 1450 Broadway, on 41st Street, you'll find a variety of spins on the classic chicken finger, including General Sticky Tso, Salted Caramel Pretzel, and Vampire Killer.
