The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey has asked us to remind PATH riders that SmartLink Cards will no longer be accepted on the PATH system beginning September 1, 2026.

August 31, 2026 will be the final day SmartLink Cards can be used on PATH as the system fully transitions to TAPP.

The Port Authority will also host a virtual information session to answer questions and provide additional information about the transition on Wednesday, August 19, at 6:00 PM
