The Garment District Alliance is proud to announce that our President, Barbara Blair, has been recognized as one of City & State's inaugural Economic Development Trailblazers. This prestigious list highlights 100 New Yorkers who are driving economic growth and creating opportunities across the state and beyond. 

Barbara has been a staunch advocate for the continuing evolution of our neighborhood, including supporting a zoning overhaul to encourage housing development and calling on Albany to address pressing issues like NYC’s mental health and substance use crisis. Barbara’s continued leadership ensures that the Garment District remains a vibrant and thriving hub for New York City’s future.
