Community Board
Applications
Community boards play a vital role in shaping Manhattan's neighborhoods, and applications to serve are now open through February 27.
Community boards advise on many of the issues New Yorkers care about most — housing, sanitation, transit, small businesses, land use, open space, and more. These are often the same concerns raised in community meetings, listservs, and online forums every day.
Serving on a community board is an opportunity to take those ideas and concerns from online conversations into real-world action. Members work directly with neighbors, city agencies, and elected officials to help improve quality of life in their communities.
We encourage you to share this opportunity with your networks and consider applying yourself. Learn more and submit an application at the link below.
